Dellamano (made by Anderson), which in Italian means "from the hands," continues a heritage that dates back to the exquisite sculptures of Michaelangelo. Anderson craftsmen continue the master's art of seeing the beauty in natural material, then bringing that beauty to light in the most intimate way possible - by hand. The beauty is backed up by 21st Century technology. Each 6 1/4" wide board is 5 plies and Cross-Locked Engineered to a full 11.9 mm thickness (1/2" nominal) before scraping and sculpting.

Hand-scraped and distressed wood floors are popular with the new upper-scale Eastlake housing development in Chula Vista and other Spanish Colonial Architecture.

Kahrs is the first wood floor company to introduce a click together floating wood floor system throughout their product line called the WOODLOC System using some of the finest wood species from around the world, as well as having one of the finest finishes borrowed from the same technologies of laminate finishes, a brilliant piece of Swedish ingenuity.

A very popular look is the staggered-colored plank engineered by Kahrs. The one pictured is called Kahrs Jarrah Stockholm 3 Plank, meaning it is 3 planks wide in the board design.

This Canadian hardwood supplier is one of the leaders in the industry for its standards of excellence. In addition to their square-edge planks, the company has recently added micro-v bevel products to its line.
